Wildlife System

Animals live their life in the world, they need to eat, sleep and reproduce, reproduction requires a partner but there are no genders or a pregnancy period, when 2 animals mate an offspring is produced immediately.

Herbivores will eat only specific plants species, carnivores will have preferred prey but will attempt to eat anything if hungry enough.
every animal have preferred climate values and plants they want to be around

Some animals will live in packs(or herds, or whatever), each pack can contain a certain number of adults and a number of youngs, when packs get too big they separate into two packs.

Some animals will have nests(or dens, or whatever), each den can contain a number of adults and youngs
nests are basically building built by the animals, they provide protection from predators, a place for youngs to stay safe and storage for food and nest construction materials
nests degrade over time and animals need to gather materials to maintain them
the youngs can eat from the nest food storage so they don't have to venture out into danger with the adults
other animals can attack and destroy nests, nests have health and damage resistance like any other damageable thing in the world but also have damage mirroring(reflecting damage back to attacker)

Animals can be hunted for various resources (food, textile, etc.)
factions can capture and domesticate some animals to have a constant source of animal products like wool, milk and etc.
